Six months ago Hoosiers turned out in droves to demand an end to political gerrmandering in Indiana. It was a clear display of public support for comprehensive reform and sent a loud message to committee members and State House observers.
The Special Interim Committee on Redistricting will hold its 2nd meeting next Thursday. We need to pack the room again to hold the committee members accoutantable and call for an independent and citizens-led redistricting process.
Can you join us?
WHEN: Thursday, May 5th at 1 p.m.
WHERE: Room 404 of the Indiana State House
We’ve got to maintain a strong presence and keep the pressure on throughout the study committee process, so please join us at the State House on May 5th if you can. With your help and that of hundreds of other Hoosiers, we are building momentum for reform and getting closer every day.
Hope to see you soon,
Julia Vaughn, Policy Director
and the rest of the team at Common Cause Indiana
P.S. If you can’t be there in person, the meeting will be webcast live.
