Happy New Year to everyone! For various reasons, after a long 2016, I’m sure we all hope for a better 2017. We know a Trump administration will not push for positive change on wage theft and raising wages at the national level, so local advocacy and policy change is needed to help low wage workers.
CFLC member, Louis Burgess, is attending classes at IUPUI. He enjoyed discussions in Professor Modibo’s class and asked him to speak to us this month.
So join us for a lively conversation about current affairs, globalization (which our president elect claims to be against) and how it impacts US workers.
