Join Food Chain Workers Alliance (FWCA) and movement partners in a General Strike on May 1st, International Workers’ Day. Laundry Workers Center is a member of FCWA, a national coalition of 300,000 workers employed across the entire food system, from farm to plate.
We strike for dignified jobs for all. We strike because we do not accept exclusion based on religion, race, gender identity, class, or immigration status. We invite all marginalized people, their networks, and their allies to join in. On May Day, work for no one, buy nothing, and don’t go to school. Come out to the streets to demonstrate our unity and collective power.
